An English Manor with manners...

A short while ago, I was invited to come and experience the incomparable, Boulevard3, for a possible venue for our Speed Dating events. Seems everyone wants a taste of the UK! Having heard and read glowing reviews about Boulevard3, from both critics and gossip mags alike, I anxiously agreed. Boulevard3 was conceived as "an English manor house with modern insides," a mix of old-world charm and digital generation appeal.

Built on the site of the former Hollywood Athletic Club, this is one LA spot that can not be missed. Brainchild of Skybar partner, Peter Famulari, known for developing nuanced spaces that offer patrons a sense of sophistication with sensibility. Sharing common walls with uber-chic Social Hollywood, this nightclub-minded hotspot offers a spacious front courtyard with Starck-white cabanas and two reflective pools with Vegas-esque fire features. The interior is now home to a manor-theme dance floor with second-floor of arched balconies containing individual VIP areas with plasma TVs and private concierge.

Jaw dropping as the outside fire features, reflection pools and cabanas may be, I was most impressed with the staff and the welcoming vibe the club projects. They know what they are and they don't have to have the attitude to prove it. I think the LA Examiner sums it up best; "Bouelveard 3 is an oxymoron in Hollywood nightlife: high end, sexy, and flashy, yet down to earth and considerate. Boulevard 3 is like that person who you assume to be stuck up because they're beautiful, and once you talk to them you discover they're really cool. You feel bad for assuming otherwise, but it's refreshing because they proved you wrong." Boulevard3 fuses the intimacy of a party at a private home, the luxury of a four-star estate, and the spirit of play.

We will be at Boulevard3 on Friday, March 20th @ 8:00pm for a night of Speed Dating - UK Style. Your ticket includes club admission for the night, all while you Speed Date in privacy.
